Jonathan Sebastian Bach, son of Claudia Stewart and David Bach, both of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Jean and Harry Bach of Toronto; Patricia Brightbill of Phoenix; and William Stewart of Troy, Mich.

Great-grandparents are the late Rachel and Hyman Bach.

Jonathan attends Shea Middle School. His hobbies are herpetology, guitar and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Jonathan is creating a fund-raiser for endangered species at Phoenix Zoo.



Julie Nicole Drapkin, daughter of Jennifer and Michael Drapkin of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Claire and Martin Drapkin of Freehold, N.J.; and Jane Elgot of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.

Julie attends Horizon Community Learning Center. Her hobbies are gymnastics, football, soccer, listening to music and computer games.

For her mitzvah project, Julie donated hair to Locks of Love and participated in a Hot Wheels drive for Phoenix Children's Hospital.



Stephanie Morrisa Butkowski, daughter of Cheri and Bob Butkowski of Peoria, will become a bat mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Temple Gan Elohim.

Grandparents are Joy and Norman Eisner of Sun City West; John Butkowski of Iola, Wis.; and the late Joan Butkowski.

Stephanie attends Frontier Elementary School. Her hobbies are competition swimming, flute, spending time with friends and reading.

For her mitzvah project, Stephanie participated in a food drive scavenger hunt for the underprivileged.



Gradey Benjamin Radke, son of Linda and Lowell Radke of Chandler, will become a bar mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Temple Beth Sholom.

Grandparents are Lavonne and Edgar Radke of Alta, Iowa; Ann Foster of Scottsdale; and the late Marvin Foster.

Great-grandparents are the late Emma and David Weiss; and the late Lena and Casper Finklestein.

Gradey attends Aprende Middle School. His hobbies are sports, electronics and reading.

For his mitzvah project, Gradey participated in a diaper drive.



Danielle Rachel Beck, daughter of Jill and Brad Beck of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Rhoda and Harvey Goldvarg of Scottsdale; Gayle and Harvey Beck of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; and the late Robert Siegel.

Great-grandparents are Lillian Hechtman and Estelle German, both of West Bloomfield, Mich.

Danielle attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies are volleyball, skiing, tennis and spending time with family and friends.

For her mitzvah project, Danielle worked at St. Mary's Food Bank and assisted during the Special Olympics.



Dana Troness, daughter of Debra Waxman and David Troness, both of Gilbert, will become a bat mitzvah March 27, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Betty Ann and Harry Waxman of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Gretchen and Art Troness of Glenwood, Minn.

Dana attends Gilbert Junior High School.

For her mitzvah project, Dana will be donating teddy bears to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
