B'nai Mitzvah
Maya Hana Evans, daughter of Bunny and Stu Evans of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah March 13, 2004, at Temple Chai.
Grandparents are Lois Hutt of Miami; Alan Greiman of Evanston, Ill.; and the late Carole Greiman.
Maya's hobbies are acting, art, guitars, singing and karate.
For her mitzvah project, Maya made blankets for the neonatal intensive care unit at Phoenix Children's Hospital. She also volunteered at youth events at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center.
Andrew Sene Glassman, son of Ellen and Norm Glassman of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah March 13, 2004, at Temple Chai.
Grandparents are Lenore and Jack Merritt; and Yetta and Benjamin Glassman, all of Philadelphia.
Andrew attends Copper Ridge Middle School. His hobbies are playing bass guitar, music, computers, spending time with friends, acting and making movies.
For his mitzvah project, Andrew collected used towels and blankets for the Arizona Humane Society and donated items to Goodwill.
Jessica Frances Ornstein, daughter of Lisa and Jonathan Ornstein of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 13, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.
Grandparents are Marylou Stockwell of Corona del Mar, Calif.; and Mona Ornstein of New Rochelle, N.Y.
Jessica attends Phoenix Country Day School. Her hobbies are surfing, dance, acting, sports and singing.
Hayley Evonne Magerman, daughter of Irene and Leonard Magerman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah March 13, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.
Grandparents are Pauline Alter of Scottsdale; Ethel Magerman of Madison, Conn.; the late Hyman Alter; and the late Gene and Benjamin Magerman.
Hayley attends Cheyenne School. Her hobbies are tennis, golf and violin.

For his mitzvah project, Ariel did fund raising for the Child Crisis Center, collected food for St. Mary's Food Bank and wrote letters to servicemen in Iraq.

For his mitzvah project, Bradley served meals at a homeless shelter and volunteered for the yearly Southwest Autism Research Center breakfast.
Marshall Ethan Gottlieb, son of Arlene and Ron Gottlieb of Tempe, will become a bar mitzvah March 13, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.
Grandparents are Elaine and William Stoler of West Bloomfield, Mich.; Lillian Gottlieb of Harrisburg, Penn.; and the late David Gottlieb.
Marshall attends Kyrene Middle School. His hobbies are basketball, baseball and movies.
For his mitzvah project, Marshall participated in a food drive and volunteered at the Boys' and Girls' Club of Guadalupe.
