Obituaries

Edith Lors

Edith Lors of Scottsdale died Jan. 28, 2004. She was born in Germany and moved to Arizona from Ohio in 1986. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter Ingrid Cohen of Scottsdale; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi Peter S. Levi officiating. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Fay Schwartz

Fay Schwartz of Phoenix died Feb. 1, 2004. She was 95. She was born in Planch, Poland, and moved to Arizona from New York in 1989. She was a retired stuffed toys manufacturer. She was a member of Har Zion Congregation, NA'AMAT, and National Association of Jewish Women.

Survivors include her son, Joel of Phoenix; daughter, Sherry Fleminger of Phoenix; sister, Ruth Gruyanov of Tel Aviv; and brother, Munie Staum of Florida.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi Arthur Lavinsky officiating. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Ethel Evelyn Miller

Dr. Ethel Evelyn Miller died Feb. 3, 2004. She was 87. She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Arizona from Pennsylvania in 1974. She was a retired optometrist. She was a member of Beth El Congregation and Hadassah Valley of the Sun Chapter.

Survivors include her son, Arthur of Phoenix; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, with Rabbi Robert Eisen officiating. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Harry Feigen

Harry Feigen, age 88, passed away February 3, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Liliian, nee Win; dear father of Zaneta (Ronald) Ruff, Jerry and Ronald (Cari Dandy) Feigen; devoted grandfather of Mara, Miriam and Rebecca Ruff. Graveside services were held Friday, February 6, 2004 at Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights, Ill. Mr. Feigen was a Holocaust survivor.
