Scottsdale Sepharadic Synagogue has elected a new board: Jack Ruimy, president; Avi Dahan, Benjamin Av-rahami and Albert Meloul, vice presidents; Pascal Carasso, treasurer; Limor Caspi, secretary; Nisim Dadon, CEO; Danny Marciano, Bella Sherman, Sean Lille and Reuven Serussi, board members.

Temple Gan Elohim installed its 2004 Board of Trustees on Jan. 16. Newly elected board members are Stephanie Golub, vice-president; Ellen Heller, three-year trustee; and Linda Tyler, trustee with two years remaining. Those who were re-elected include Marilyn Behrens, financial secretary; Arlene Berger, three-year trustee; David Caplan, treasurer; Marcey Strick, president; Stan Tierney, three-year trustee; Lisa Vitoff, secretary. Those with continuing terms are Marv Fineberg, trustee with two years remaining; Lesley Hafalia, immediate past president; Beth Hirshenson, trustee with one year remaining; Barry Kirschner, trustee with one year remaining; Barbara Knight, trustee with two years remaining; Georgette Sloms, trustee with two years remaining.

Brian L. Swartz has been promoted to vice president and controller of EaglePicher Holdings, Inc., and EaglePicher Incorporated. Formerly the director of corporate financial operations, Swartz will assume responsibility for all global financial planning and analysis, internal management reporting, and external reporting to the board of directors, the SEC, financial institutions and others.
