B'nai Mitzvah
Maryn Shelby Gordon, daughter of Susan and Dan Gordon of Tempe, will become a bat mitzvah Jan. 30, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.
Grandparents are Rita and Marty Klemes of Sun Lakes; Arlene Gordon of Tempe; and the late David Gordon.
Maryn attends Kyrene Middle School. Her hobbies include gymnastics, reading, swimming and singing.
For her mitzvah project, Maryn raised money to purchase games for hospital-ized children at Banner Desert Children's Center.
David Jeremy Gordon, son of Susan and Dan Gordon of Tempe, will become a bar mitzvah Jan. 31, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.
Grandparents are Rita and Marty Klemes of Sun Lakes; Arlene Gordon of Tempe; and the late David Gordon.
David attends Kyrene Middle School. His hobbies include sports and guitar.
For his mitzvah project, David raised money to purchase games for hospitalized children at Banner Desert Children's Center.
Brittny Rose Palermo, daughter of Lori and Anthony Palermo of Gilbert, will become a bat mitzvah Jan. 31, 2004, at Chabad Center for Jewish Life.
Grandparents are Annette and Allen Weinberger of Chandler; and Paulette Gramovot and Stan Gramovot, both of Boca Raton, Fla.
Brittny attends Bright Beginnings Charter School. Her hobbies include drama, horses and art.
For her mitzvah project, Brittny volunteered at Petsmart.
Kate Elizabeth Robbins, daughter of Linda and Howard Robbins of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Jan. 31, 2004, at Temple Solel.
Grandparents are Elaine and Samuel Robbins of Scottsdale; and the late Charlotte and Frank Shudnow.
Kate attends Mountainside Middle School. Her hobbies are jazz piano, saxophone and softball.
For her mitzvah project, Kate collected books and school supplies for Temple Solel Preschool.
Victoria Lynn Rosenblum, daughter of Irene and Jay Rosenblum of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah Jan. 31, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.
Grandparents are Beverly and Alfred Mutchnik of Scottsdale; and Sharon and Seymour Rosenblum of Beverly Hills, Calif.
Victoria attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobby is dancing.
For her mitzvah project, Victoria donated part of her bat mitzvah gifts to the Weizmann Institute of Science.
