B'nai Mitzvah

Jacob Marc Freidkin, son of Carol and Steven Freidkin of Phoenix, became a bar mitzvah Dec. 25, 2003, atop Masada in Israel.

Grandparents are Rose Ford and Lloyd Ford, both of Phoenix; and the late Deborah and Marvin Freidkin.

Jacob attends Madison Meadows Middle School. His hobbies include backyard ballistics, music, computer science and computer games.

For his mitzvah project, Jacob participated as a member of the Tu b'Shevat committee of the Jewish National Fund.



Nevin Elizabeth Williams, daughter of Janet Faber of Phoenix and Nathaniel Williams, Jr., of San Antonio, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 27, 2003 at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Phyllis Faber of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Evelyn Williams of Flint, Mich.; the late Norman Faber; and the late Nathaniel Williams, Sr.

Great-grandparents are the late Geri and Howard Faber.

Nevin attends Vista Verde Middle School. Her hobbies include violin, tennis, exercising and dance.
