Sandi Hicks has been named Nonprofit Executive Director of the Year for Medium Sized Organizations by ONE, the Organization for Nonprofit Executives. Hicks is the Challenger Space Center executive director. Stephanie Scher has been named staffing manager for Management Recruiters International of Scottsdale. She will assist the office in managing 20 new positions over the next 12 months. Chrysalis, a domestic violence agency, has announced its new mission statement and logo, the result of a nine- month agency self-assessment through the Arizona State University Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Management. Scottsdale Leadership, Inc., an organization dedicated to developing future community leaders through education, skill development, mentoring and community trustreeship, has received the 2003 Sterling Award from the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes excellence in the nonprofit field. |
