Jessica Ashly Kurzweil, daughter of Melanie and Rick Kurzweil of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 20, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Dorothy Osheroff of Boca Raton, Fla.; the late Marvin Oscheroff; and the late Blanche and Daniel Kurzweil.

Jessica attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobby is dancing.

For her mitzvah project, Jessica volunteered with children at an after-school program.



Kimberly Rose Fuchs, daughter of Susan and Steven Fuchs of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 20, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Meta Cooper of Willow Grove, Pa.; the late Murray Cooper; and the late Margaret and William Fuchs.

Kimberly attends Foothills Academy. Her hobbies include reading, writing and drawing.

For her mitzvah project, Kimberly volunteered during Make A Difference Day and helped in her synagogue's office.



Aaron Blake Kravetz, son of Denise and Lee Kravetz of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 20, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Sam Weinstein of Las Vegas; the late Aleyda Weinstein; and the late Miriam and Manuel Kravetz.

Aaron attends Copper Ridge Middle School. His hobbies are tennis, video games and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Aaron helped teens from Council for Jews with Special Needs and worked on Mitzvah Day at Temple Chai.



Jessica Erin Siegel, daughter of Rene‚ Siegel of Scottsdale and the late Warren Siegel, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 20, 2003, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Geraldine and William Warren of Sarasota, Fla.; Lillian Siegel of St. Louis Park, Minn.; and the late Solomon Siegel.

Jessica attends Mountainside Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, acting, rollerblading and swimming.

For her mitzvah project, Jessica worked as a neighborhood mother's helper, volunteered at the Wellness Center, made a Shabbat dinner and did pet-sitting.



David Joshua Hoover, son of Teri and Clifford Hoover of Chandler, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 20, 2003, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Dorothy and Robert Goldman of Denver.

David attends Aprende Junior High School. His hobbies are soccer, wrestling, baseball and drama.
