Helen Greenfield and Heather Aroesty will become b'nai mitzvah Nov. 15, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Helen is a mother of two and has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Heather, one of Helen's granddaughters, is the daughter of Jim and Barbara Johnson of Scottsdale, the wife of Howie Aroesty, and the mother of two children.

The two women began their studies in early 2003.



Jeffrey Aaron Lieb, son of Shannon Lieb of Phoenix and Michael Lieb of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Nov. 15, 2003, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Herb Lieb of Phoenix; the late Sharon Nessel; the late Patricia MacDuff; and the late William MacDuff.

Jeffrey attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include baseball, basketball and spending time with his friends.



Nathan Seth Greenberg, son of Lauren and Steven Greenberg of Scotts-dale, will become a bar mitzvah Nov. 15, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Lorraine and Carol Greenberg of Miami Beach, Fla.; Eileen Oper of Aventura, Fla.; and Arnold Oper of Sunny Isles, Fla.

Nathan attends Copper Ridge Middle School. His hobbies include playing drums and guitar.

For his mitzvah project, Nathan raised funds for the Phoenix Children's Hospital and served breakfast to the homeless.



Tyler Thomas Cheswick, son of Francine and Tom Cheswick of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Nov. 15, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Deanna and Tom Sesto of Kansas City, Mo.; and Gretchen Cheswick of Gilbert.

Tyler attends Sunrise Middle School. His hobbies include track and field, paintball, computers and video games.

For his mitzvah project, Tyler worked at the Animal Benefits Club, helped with projects at Raising Special Kids and fed families at the Ronald McDonald House.



Elena Joy Zeidman, daughter of Lori and Eric Zeidman of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Nov. 15, 2003, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Donna Luna of Phoenix; Michael Luna of Tucson; Helen Zeidman of Boyton Beach, Fla.; and the late Gerald Zeidman.

Elena attends the Arizona School for the Arts. Her hobbies include riding her horses, singing and playing piano and cello.

For her mitzvah project, Elena donated books to Pardes Jewish Day School and donated food to a local food bank.
