Cookies Amour, located at 1341 E. Northern Ave. in Phoenix, will celebrate its second anniversary on Nov. 16. President Bush nominated Neil V. Wake, an attorney in private practice in Phoenix, to fill a vacancy on the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Wake has been a partner in three Phoenix law firms and, with his wife Shari, formed ICU Care Parents, a support group for parents of critically ill newborns.
