People on the moveCitizens Clean Elections Commission has hired Eric Gorsegner as the commission's deputy director. He will take over the position Oct. 27.Dorothy Rowe of Phoenix has been selected for induction into the Women's International Bowling Congress Hall of Fame. Rowe will become the 52nd woman to be induction into the hall of fame for meritorious service during the 2004 annual meeting in Kansas next May. The Area Agency on Aging, Region One, has announced the winners of the Dr. R. Alice Drought Caring Spirit Awards. The outstanding volunteer awards were presented to Julian Gardea and Neal Jennings. The community service award was presented to Interfaith Community Care, and the individual achievement award went to Lupe Solis. Glendale-based RB Balch, computer consultants, has been selected to provide speakers for the 2003 Connected International Meeting Planners Association (CIMPA) Inter-national Technology Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. President Rochelle Balch will present her keynote speech "Self-Promotion: The Key to Success" and a technology workshop titled "Computer Safety/Contingency Planning: How long can you be down?" RB Balch Vice President Andy Karpel will also attend the conference. |
