Rebecca Leigh Harris, daughter of Debbie Harris and Jeffrey Harris, both of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 18, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Dyna and Leonard Harris of Denver; and Mary and Roland Simmons of Scottsdale.

Rebecca attends Greenway Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, horseback riding, reading, acting and skiing.

For her mitzvah project, Rebecca volunteered at a food bank with her grandfather.



Jessica Denise Lebowitz, daughter of Carolyn and Michael Lebowitz of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 18, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Phyliss Lebowitz of Boca Raton, Fla.; and the late George Lebowitz.

Jessica attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobbies include dance, piano, shopping and spending time with friends and family.

For her mitzvah project, Jessica organized a food and personal items drive in her neighborhood to donate to the Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank.



Taylor Rose Bilby, daughter of Cindi Stoneman of Scottsdale and Ray Bilby of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 18, 2003, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Edie and Standford Stoneman of Phoenix.

Taylor attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, singing and volunteering.



Michaela Sarah Christopher, daughter of Fonda and Scott Christopher of Gilbert, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 18, 2003, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are June and Harold Kravin of St. Louis; Carol Christopher of Lincoln, Neb.; and Francis Christopher of Beatrice, Neb.

Michaela attends Greenfield Junior High School. Her hobbies include playing the viola, drawing and dancing.

For her mitzvah project, Michaela volunteered and collected items for Prehab's Autumn House, a domestic violence shelter.



Hayley Rebecca Winograd, daughter of Sandra and Mark Winograd of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 18, 2003, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Pearl Winograd of Scottsdale; the late Herb Winograd; and the late Ruth and Bernard Slaton.

Hayley attends Mohave Middle School. Her hobbies include basketball, photography and art.

For her mitzvah project, Hayley adopted a needy family and collected clothes and toys for them.
