Zappa's latest CD, "Automatic," is his first release under his own name in nearly a decade. A Grammy-nominee composer, Zappa penned the theme for "The Jamie Kennedy Show" and served as musical director for the WB Network's series "On the Spot."

Hollywood and the Holocaust

"The AMC Project: Hollywood and the Holocaust" will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 7, on the AMC network. The documentary traces Hollywood's complex response to Nazism and the Holocaust over the last six decades. Directed by the award-winning documentary filmmaker Daniel Anker, the show travels in time to explore Charlie Chaplin's first usage of the word "Jew" on the big screen, and through the war years when President Eisen-hower brought Hollywood moguls to the liberated concentration camps.

The film also focuses on personal expression and the effort to overcome censorship and production codes with films such as "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "The Pawnbroker." "Hollywood and the Holocaust" includes personal accounts by survivors and community response to the films "Sophie's Choice" and "Schindler's List." Check local listings for showtimes.
