Arts briefs

Ceramics for adults and children

The Tri-City Jewish Community Center will offer ceramic classes for adults 9:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 1; and 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 2. Children's classes will be offered for K-fifth grade students 4-5:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning Oct. 13. Preschool classes will be offered 12:30-1:15 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 7. The classes run for six weeks and vary in price from $36-$90. The Tri-City JCC is located at 1521 S. Indian Bend Road, Tempe.

Sing at the Tri-City JCC

The award-winning Fiesta Women's Chorus is seeking new members. Those interested in singing can visit the group 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Tri-City Jewish Community Center, 1521 S. Indian Bend Road, Tempe.
