Obituaries

Sophie Mishkin

Sophie Mishkin, age 90, passed away August 28, 2003 in Scottsdale. She was born in Philadelphia and has been a resident of the Valley for the past 23 years.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years Charles Mishkin, son Alan (Carol) Mishkin, daughter Helen (Steve) Gubin, sister Berte Lauer, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 29, 2003 in Sinai Mortuary Chapel in Phoenix. Contributions in her memory are requested to Temple Chai, 4645 E. Marilyn Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032; or Alzheimer's Association, 1028 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006.
