Joy Solon & Adam Weber

Joy Solon and Adam Weber, both of Scottsdale, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Marnee and Paul Solon of Scottsdale; and the late Dale and Daniel Weber.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of Arizona. She is self-employed as an owner and designer at Solon Design.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University and a law degree from the University of Arizona College of Law. He is a senior real estate analyst for Marcus & Millichap.

A November 2003 wedding is planned in Scottsdale.



Katie Fox & John Cabay

Katie Fox and John Cabay, both of Tempe, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Suzanne Fox of Lyndhurst, Ohio; John Fox of Houston, Texas; Nina Cabay-Bloem and Ronald Cabay, both of Tempe.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Kansas. She is the membership director at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in recreation management from Arizona State University. He is the sports director at the VOSJCC.

A winter wedding is planned.

Parents of the groom are Mariem and Neil Superfon of Phoenix.

A Nov. 8, 2003, wedding is planned at the Phoenician.
