No matter what your party needs are, the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center may have the answer.

The center has teamed with four Valley businesses to offer the Perfect Parties Expo 2003 on Sept. 7.

"This is the party show of the year," says Amy Petrovsky, special events coordinator for the VOSJCC and owner of Sensational Events. "The exhibitors are the who's who in the wedding and party industry."

The event will feature 55 local businesses from photographers to florists to caterers. Also, weddings, bar and bat mitzvot, invitations, resorts and party planners will be exhibiting.

"We are showcasing everybody for whatever type of event you want, whether social or corporate," says Petrovsky. The community will have have the opportunity to see what's out there in the Valley for party planning."

Co-sponsors of the event are the VOSJCC, Sensational Events, Phoenix Weddingpages Magazine, JBW Entertainment and Jewish News of Greater Phoenix.

Participating businesses include Pointe South Mountain Resort, Seven Sisters Sweet Shop, Temple Chai, Invitations & More, Tri-Rentals Party Specialists, Talit Design Co., All About Entertainment and The Centerpiece Maven.

Petrovsky estimates more than 2,000 guests will visit the show, based on advertising in the Arizona Republic and Jewish News, and the contacts many of the companies already have.

"We've gotten a lot of attention from some very big companies," says Petrovsky. "It is the only event that deals with all party elements."

In addition, all companies showcased at the event have donated a raffle item - offering an opportunity for guests to win one of 55 donated items.

The VOSJCC's next event will be the JCC Gift Show, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 2. The event will include 10 Israeli artists and 20 local artists.

Companies interested in having a booth at the Perfect Parties Expo can call 480-634-4944, ext. 3011, or e-mail amyp@vosjcc.org by Aug. 22.

The event will be held 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the VOSJCC, 12701 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale.

Call 480-483-7121.
