People on the moveRabbi Yakov and Tehila Baron of Chabad of Scottsdale will relocate to Coral Springs, Fla., this month. They have been with the synagogue since 1999.The Phoenix Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee has received the "Louie" award in recognition of the chapter's outstanding efforts to raise funds for libraries, medical research and scholarships. The award is named after the Supreme Court Justice and the university's namesake, Louis Brandeis. Foothills Branch Library, located at 19055 N. 57th Ave., was recently selected as a winner in the fourth round of the Excellence in Library Service to Young Adults by the Young Adult Library Services Association. The Arizona Unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic has been awarded a $52,973 grant from the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. The grant completes a two-year, $109,805 commitment to the organization.
