People on the moveThe American Society of Women Accountants recently installed its incoming officers and directors board to serve through June 2004. Officers are Marina Korp, president; Chris Perszyk-Cox, president-elect; Rhonda Smith, secretary; Carin Bailey, treasurer; Melissa Swanson, assistant treasurer; Korene Clopine, director; Audrey Spence and Tammy Martinez, co-directors, program; and Danielle Mowery and Nora Martinez, co-directors, membership.Doug Adelberg has been hired as benefits administrator for Lovitt & Touche, one of the state's oldest commercial insurance agencies. Adelberg will manage operations in the firm's Tucson office. KAET-TV/Channel 8 has been ranked No. 1 nationally by TRAC Media Research in full-day viewing. The station also ranks highly with children. Nearly 50,000 youngsters tune in each week to shows including "Clifford the Big Red Dog," "Arthur" and "Sesame Street." Stephen N. Finberg, D.O., has been re-elected as chief of staff at Paradise Valley Hospital. He served as chief of staff from 1999-2000. Jonathan D. Ruzi, M.D., was appointed chief of medicine at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea. The physicians are partners at Desert Center for Allergy and Chest Diseases. Both are members of Temple Chai. The Scottsdale Resort Club, located at 8235 E. Indian Bend Road, has been awarded a five-star award by Interval International. The award recognizes quality of resort accommodations, guest services and on-site recreational amenities. |
