The Department of Arizona/Nevada of the Jewish War Veterans has elected representatives to the organization. Members are James Pomush, commander (Red Mountain Post 128, Phoenix); Ron Krever, senior vice commander (Las Vegas); Marty Harow, junior vice commander (Oro Valley); Bernard Domsky, judge advocate (East Valley); Irving Finver, national executive committee (Las Vegas); Louis Segaloff, adjutant (Tucson); Murray Handler, quartermaster (Tucson); Ernest Michel, chaplain (Phoenix); Joseph Schwartz, service officer (Las Vegas); Melvin Brody, chief of staff (Scottsdale); Al Hartenstein, Nevada liaison to chief of staff (Las Vegas); Jesse Gersten, inspector (Phoenix); Harold Lampear, officer of the day (Scottsdale); Marty Harow, membership chairman (Oro Valley); and Henry Wedell, veterans service chairman (Tempe).

Sensational Simchas, a business offering social and corporate event planning, has changed its name to Sensational Events. The business is owned by Amy Petrovsky.

Bonni Pomush has been named assistant director of auxiliary student services for the Kyrene Elementary School District.

Jane Vukovich has been named director of catering for the Pointe Hilton Resorts, including Squaw Peak and Tapatio Cliffs.
