Har Zion Congregation has elected the 2003-2004 board officers. Officers are Andy Cooper, president; Steve Ference, executive vice president; Jennie Jacobs Kronenfeld, ritual vice president; Robert Frost, ways and means vice president; Sharon Guttell, education and youth vice president; Nancy Cohen, membership vice president; Abe Bochner, treasurer; Ken Matlick, secretary; and Sandy Karpen, past president. Har Zion Sisterhood has installed Linda Bernstein as president. Har Zion Men's Club has installed Bob Casselman as president.

NA'AMAT USA, Rina Chapter re-elected members to its board of directors. Members are Barbara Lewis, president; Honey Yellin, administrative vice president; Shula Kantor, program vice president; Joanne Schartow, fund raising vice president; Marilyn Wasserkrug, membership vice president; Saul Yellin, treasurer; Miriam Brodian, recording secretary; Alezah Weinberg, American Israeli affairs/community liaison; Shirley Dule, hospitality/tribute cards; and Belle Bross, telephone squad. Betty Bachner was elected as the organization's new recording secretary. Members at large are Dona Grossman, Judy Kahan and Ruth Miller, past president.

Compass Bank donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Fund in Southern Arizona to aid the victims of the Aspen.
