People on the moveDr. Dan Feller has been named board president at The Jess Schwartz Jewish Community High School. Other board officers are Mel Bottner, vice president; and Elana Storch, secretary/treasurer. Deborah Harris is the immediate past president and Sheila Schwartz is member at large. Board members include Carol Barkley, Dan Bock, David Leiberman, Helen Melmed, David Metz, Janice Montana, Morton Scult and Ed Zachary.Frank Coumides, a 10-year financial services veteran, has been named manager of the Wells Fargo location at 2302 W. Northern Ave., Phoenix. Burt Kruglick of Phoenix, president of the local Jewish National Fund chapter, has been recognized for raising funds for the fund's "30 Days in May Major League Fundraising." Kruglick has a total of 38 gifts, including six major gifts of $5,000 or more. The campaign raised a total of $1.9 million. Louis Fidel of Phoenix received a bachelor's degree in religion and a minor in French from Dartmouth University at the spring commencement services. He is the son of Anne and Noel Fidel. Lee Shapiro has been named special events coordinator at Jewish National Fund, Arizona Region. Shapiro will plan and implement local events, including JNF's annual Tree of Life award dinner, Tu B'Shevat Festival and JNF breakfast. Armando Roman, CPA, has written a practical guidebook for those wanting to learn more about business ownership before starting their own business. The book, "Make the Leap: Shift from Corporate Worker to Entrepreneur," is available in all major bookstores. |
