Beth El Congregation has elected officers and board members for the 2003-2004 year. Officers joining Herb Dreiseszun, president, are David Rosenbaum, executive vice president; Lloyd Sirkin, ritual vice president; Ann Polunsky, education vice president; Allyn Kluger, house vice president; Sam Miller, youth vice president; MaryJane Sandlar, secretary; and Paul Ulan, treasurer. Board members include Eli Barzilai, Rich Cohen, Susan Finks, Kim Mertens, Sam Miller, Lloyd Sirkin, David Rosenbaum, Steve Winkelman, Dan Witenstein, Marty Vanacour and Hank Zalut.

Michael Casey has been named chairman of the board of directors of the Herberger Theater, a position he will hold until 2005.

EyeCare Plus, owned by Dr. Maury Kessler, has moved its Scottsdale office to 7508 E. Camelback Road while the current facility undergoes renovation. Call 480-947-4349.

Rabbi David Leslie Frankel was ordained at Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles on May 4. Frankel, a native of Toronto, moved to Scottsdale at age 5. He attended Temple Solel and has worked with Rabbi Barton Lee at Hillel of Arizona State University.

Attorneys Daniel Adelman and Steven German have opened a new law firm, Adelman German P.C., in Scottsdale. They will handle serious injury or wrongful death cases.

Joy Solon has been named education/outreach vice president for the 2003-2004 board of the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Fed-eration of Greater Phoenix.
