B'nai Mitzvah

Emily Rose Felder, daughter of Merrylee and Lawrence Felder of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 21, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Bernice and Arvin Glicksman of Uxbridge, Mass.; and Velma and Martin Felder of Palm Desert, Calif.

Great-grandparents are Rose and William Felder of Fall River, Mass.; and the late Myrtle and Charles Glicksman.

Emily attends Desert Shadows Middle School. Her hobbies include sports, filmmaking, American history and geology.

For her mitzvah project, Emily ran a food drive at her school to benefit Desert Mission Food Bank and helped collect clothes for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.



Bryce Mathew Schotz, son of Linda and Jeff Schotz of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah June 21, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Estela and Sheldon Schotz and Al Bartak, all of Phoenix; and the late Ruth Bartak.

Bryce attends Sunrise Middle School. His hobbies include basketball, karate and fishing.

For his mitzvah project, Bryce volunteered at the Watkins Overflow Shelter, collected stuffed animals for the Capri Nursing Home and tutored younger children in math and science.



Michael Aaron Turner, son of Debbie and Richard Turner of Peoria, will become a bar mitzvah June 21, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are the late Marcelene and William Turner; the late Dorothy Myers; and the late Arnold Meyers.

Great-grandparents are the late Rebecca and Joseph Kalmick; and the late Lilly and Leonard Stearns.
