'Musical Tea'

Beth El Congregation pre-sents guest artist Sharon Chazan 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at the synagogue, 1118 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix.

Chazan will present an afternoon of Yiddish music and kibbitzing with the participation of Cantor Marc Philippe. Chazan, originally from Montreal, now lives in Miami. She toured with a Canadian Yiddish theater company for 15 years and now plays with cantors such as Yehuda Shiffman and Moshe Schulhof.

Tickets are $7 members, $9 nonmembers.

'Un Az Der Rebbe Singt' in Sedona

The Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley present "Un Az Der Rebbe Singt" ("And as the rabbi sings"), 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Christ Lutheran Church, located at Highway 179 and Chapel Road in Sedona.

The program features Rabbi Albert Plotkin, Cantor Mikhal Shiff-Matter and Jackie Huber. They will be singing Yiddish music.

Donations are $18 and will benefit the Jewish Com-munity Center of Sedona building fund.
