People on the moveThe Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix has elected new officers for the 2003-2004 board. Officers are Steven Schwarz, president; Tom Belgrad and Hannah Goldberg, co-campaign vice presidents; Michelle Hicks, leadership development vice president; Michelle Tran, community relations vice president; and Wendy Horwitch, community service vice president.Julia Rosen has been named director of economic affairs for the Arizona State University Office of Economic Affairs. Rosen, who has experience in technology transfer, venture capital and economic development, has previously worked in the ASU technology transfer office and as an economic development official for the city of Tempe. Dr. Philip Regier has been named interim dean of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, effective July 1. Current Dean Larry Edward Penley will take a new position as president of Colorado State University. Deborah Gilpin has joined the Arizona Science Center as vice president of exhibits and programs. The Area Agency on Aging, Region One, received the Award of Merit for its 2002 Annual Report design from the Phoenix Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Erin Kane has been hired by the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art as assistant curator. Bill Thompson was also hired to be the marketing and public relations manager. |
