Dara Marks and Troy Marino, both of Flagstaff, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Jane and Lawrence Marks of Scottsdale; Debbie and Greg Williams of Texas; Tony Marino of Texas; and the late Patsy Williams.
The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in humanities from the University of Colorado and an education baccalaureate from Arizona State University. She is a professional mountain bike racer.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in geology from Arizona State University. He is a computer programmer for Coconino County.
An Oct. 11, 2003, wedding is planned in Flagstaff.
