Klezmer group releases disc

The David Glukh Klezmer Ensemble has released its first compact disc, "Live! From New York." The group has been together since September 2000.

Born in Moscow in 1975, Glukh attended the Gnesin's Music School for gifted children. After immigrating to Israel in 1990, he attended the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts in Tel Aviv. He then served in the Israeli Army Orchestra from 1993 to 1996.

Glukh plays piccolo and trumpet, accompanied by musicians Ronn Yedidia on accordion and Dan Auerbach on violin. All are graduates of the Juilliard School in New York City.

The CD is available to purchase at www.glukh.com.
