ObituariesGussie StoneGussie Stone of Phoenix died May 16, 2003. She was 86. She was born in St. Louis and moved to Arizona in 1965 from Chicago. Contributions are suggested to the Arizona Jewish Historical Society, 4710 N. 16th St., #201, Phoenix 85016. Alvin I. GrossmanAlvin I. Grossman of Scottsdale died May 15, 2003. He was 83. He was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona in 1976. He was a retired salesman and an Army veteran of World War II in the European Theatre of War.Survivors include his wife, Idelle of Scottsdale; daughter, Dory Berger of Phoenix; son, Phil Grossman of Peoria; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Thomas Road, Phoenix 85013. Keith Howard GeigerKeith Howard Geiger of Phoenix died May 14, 2003. He was 42. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Arizona in 1999 from Long Island, N.Y.Survivors include his parents, Ellen and Fred Geiger of Scottsdale; and brothers, Mitchell Geiger and Scott Geiger, both of Scottsdale. Services were held at Phoenix Memorial Park. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary. Sara T. ScheckSara T. Scheck of Mesa died May 15, 2003. She was 86. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Arizona in 1974. She was a homemaker and a life member of Hadassah.Survivors include her daughter, Gail I. Scheck of Mesa; son, Jonathan Scheck of Mesa; sisters, Ida Cohen of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Eve Berger of Danville, Calif.; and two grand-children. Services were held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Temple Emanuel, 5801 S. Rural Road, Tempe 85283; or Hadassah, 7000 E. Shea Blvd., #251, Scottsdale 85254. Aubrey GrouskayAubrey Grouskay, age 88, passed away May 20, 2003 in Phoenix. He was born in Canada and has been a resident of Phoenix for 86 years. He owned and operated the Grouskay Cattle and Feeding Company for over 55 years. He was past President of the Arizona Cattle Growers Association. He was past President of Kivel Campus of Care and Temple Beth Israel. During WWII he served with the U.S. Marines.He is survived by his wife Marjorie; daughters Piff Grouskay and Karen (Robert Galbreath) Seaman; son Randy Grouskay; sisters Alice Berman and Betty Grouskay; grandchildren Benjamin Seaman, Tavia Warner and Michael Grouskay; and great-grandchildren Edie Seaman and Jeffrey Warner. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 23, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in Sinai Mortuary Chapel, 4538 N. 16th St. in Phoenix. She was born in Tucson and has been a resident of the Valley for 57 years.Survivors include her husband Seymour, son Rob (Adrienne) Seigel, daughter Judi Saban, and six grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held May 22, 2003, in Beth El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are suggested to Beth El Congregation, 1118 W.
