Brian Garber & Nicole Leyton

Nicole Leyton and Brian Garber, both of New York City, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Merle and Jeff Leyton of Scottsdale; and Sheila and Paul Garber of Boca Raton, Fla.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in sports management and communications from the University of Michigan and is pursuing a master's degree in childhood education from Hunter College in New York.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a producer for the National Basketball Association.

A Nov. 6, 2004, wedding is planned.



Josh Markiewicz & Tracey Dillon

Tracey Dillon of Dix Hills, N.Y., and Josh Markiewicz of Phoenix, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Nancy and Henry Markiewicz of Phoenix; Seena Dillon of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and George Dillon of Flushing, N.Y.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in education from the State University of New York, Geneseo and a master's degree in gifted and talented education from Utah State University. She is a teacher at the Guadalupe school in Salt Lake City.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Cornell University. He is a game developer for Namco in San Jose, Calif.

An Aug. 10, 2003, wedding is planned in Woodbury, N.Y.
