A boy, Shimon, was born Jan. 8, 2003, to Liat and Yechezkel Saltz of Jerusalem.
Grandparents are Miranda and Lennie Saltz of Scottsdale; and Moishe Barhoom of Jerusalem.
Great-grandparent is Judith Gutstein of Johannesburg, South Africa.
