Anne Feldman Sherman

Anne Feldman Sherman was born October 3, 1919 in Chicago to Louis and Ida Feldman. She and the love of her life, her husband of 62 years and high school sweetheart, Harry Sherman, moved to Los Angeles in 1969 and then to Phoenix in 1986.

Survivors include her husband Harry Sherman; daughters, Barbara (Dr. David) Sussman (Allentown, Pa.), Peggy (Don) Sabol (Chicago) and Debby (Lee) Finkel (Phoenix); six grandchildren; and siblings Shirley Jacobs, Dr. David (Helen) Feldman and Ruth (Earl) Yaffe.

Anne loved people, craft activities, reading, bridge and gardening. She was a life member of Hadassah, active lifelong member of the National Council of Jewish Women, and member of Har Zion Congregation. She treated everyone with dignity and respect. She never spoke ill of anyone and lived by the motto, "If you have nothing good to say about someone, say nothing at all."

Funeral services were held April 20, 2003 in Sinai Mortuary Chapel in Phoenix.

Please send donations instead of flowers to Kivel Campus of Care, 3020 N. 36th St., Phoenix, 85018 or to Har Zion Congregation, 6140 E. Thunderbird, Scottsdale, AZ 85254, in her memory. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary of Arizona.
