Sandy Karpen, a 13-year veteran of residential real estate in the Phoenix area, has joined Remax Fine Properties. Karpen is a lifetime member of the Phoenix Board of Realtors Pre-sidential Roundtable.

World Momuments Fund has received $20 million from the estate of Paul Mellon, a philanthropist dedicated to preserving world monuments. WMF has also been offered a $50 million matching challenge from Robert Wilson to preserve international historical monuments.

Twenty-three participants in The Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix recently completed a six-part Leadership Development Series to learn about being philanthropists and leaders in the Jewish community. Participants are Holly Asher, Rabbi Yaakov Barron, Tom Belgrad, Melissa Berren, Ellen Braunstein, Kenneth Feldman, Annie Gelb, Michelle Hicks, Wendy Horwitch, Lionel Hummel, Jeffrey Karp, Chad Mandelbaum, Dina Mandelbaum, Jeremy Marks, Jeremy Marwil, Michael Melun, Edward Plotkin, James Plotnik, Hal Rosen, Marc Rubin, Joy Solon, Jeffrey Stanlis and Marni Steinberg.
