ObituariesScott Adam FoxScott Adam Fox of Phoenix died March 5, 2003. He was 35. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Arizona in 1972.He was a member of the National Philatelic Society. She was born in Chicago and is a former resident of Scottsdale. She was a philanthropist in several Jewish organizations.Survivors include her sons, Jerrold Kaplan of Hillsborough, Calif., Burton Kaplan of Highland Park, Ill., and Ronald Kaplan of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; sister, Anne Schubert; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Arizona in 1978. She was employed by the Food and Drug Administration and was a past member of Beth El Sisterhood.Survivors include her husband, Joseph Goldstein of Phoenix; sons, Robert Mankin of Manhattan, N.Y., and Lawrence Mankin of Gilbert; stepsons, Paul Goldstein and Frank Goldstein, both of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Harriet S. SingerHarriet S. Singer, age 79, passed away March 11, 2003 in Phoenix. She was born in New York and moved to the Valley six years ago from Massachusetts. Harriet served in the U.S. Army as a nurse during World War II. She was preceded in death by her late husband Harry.Survivors include her daughter Merri (Roy) White, son Dr. Neil (Bonny) Singer, sister Thelma Litt, brothers David Friedman and Rabbi Murray (Faige) Friedman, and grandchildren Mara, Evan, Leah, Jake and Jordan.
