People on the move

Author Robin Davina Meyerson recently held a book signing event for her inspirational novel, "A Son Returns: True Stories of Serendipity and Divine Intervention," at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. Meyerson plans to donate 30 percent of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

Elaine Maimon, provost of Arizona State University West, has co-authored "A Writer's Resource: A Handbook for Writing and Research," published by McGraw-Hill and available at the ASU West bookstore. Co-author is Janice Peritz.

Michelle Wendy of Michelle Wendy Jewelry will design a line of jewelry for Butterfly Bridal in Scottsdale. Wendy formerly only did Judaica jewelry, but will now expand to secular pieces.

Janet Arnold represented the Arizona Jewish Theatre Company at The Association for Jewish Theatre International Conference held March 8-12 in Washington, D.C. Arnold is the past president of the Association for Jewish Theatre and has served on the organization's executive committee for eight years.

Merrill Shapiro, rabbi of Congregation Or Atid in Richmond, Va., has been named to the national board of trustees for Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

Nationwide Vision has donated $10,000 to Prevent Blindness America, Arizona Division and $7,500 to The Arizona Community Foundation.
