B'nai Mitzvah

Ashley Eryn Turkeltaub, daughter of Steven and Donna Turkeltaub of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Adele and Seymour Danto of Scottsdale; and Leonore and Jack Turkeltaub of Bendoaf, Iowa.

Ashley attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include ice skating, cheerleading, painting, soccer and playing the piano and cello.

For her mitzvah project, Ashley served food and volunteered at a food bank.



Ivy Charlotte Epstein, daughter of Karin and Michael Epstein of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are the late Belle and Morris Epstein; and the late Charlotte and Elbert Bollyn.

Ivy attends Pardes Jewish Day School Middle School.

For her mitzvah project, Ivy did a 13 mitzvot project.



Zachary Singer, son of Angel and Alan Singer of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Arlene and Sidney Singer of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Rosemarie and Robert Trombetta of Sun City, Fla.

Zachary attends Altadena Middle School. His hobbies include playing hockey and the guitar.



Allyson Ruth Stodola, daughter of Susan and Mark Stodola of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Inez Schoenfeld of Milwaukee; the late Harry Schoenfeld; and the late Joan and Joe Stodola.

Allyson attends Khalsa Middle School. Her hobbies include playing guitar, listening to music and spending time with friends.

For her mitzvah project, Allyson served food at a food bank.



Zachary Priddy, son of Brenda and John Priddy of Ahwatukee, will become a bar mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Bessie and Glen Priddy of Pittsburg, Texas; Evelyn Boxerbaum of South Euclid, Ohio; and the late Benjamin Boxerbaum.

Zachary attends Kyrene Akimel A-Al Middle School. His hobbies include skateboarding, mountain biking, photography, traveling, SCUBA diving and computer technology.

For his mitzvah project, Zachary raised more than $2,500 to purchase an automatic external defibrillator to assist heart attack victims for Temple Emanuel.



David Isaac Trau, son of Nancy and Howard Trau of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah March 8, 2003, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Jean and Howard Trau and Eleanore Hersh, all of Phoenix; and the late Milton Hersh.

David attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include hockey, paintball, skateboarding and spending time with friends.

For his mitzvah project, David collected books and toys for underprivileged children.
