Esther Feuerberg, head of school, and Donna Troisi, assistant principal, of the King David School, recently attended the Jewish Community Day School Network's annual conference in Tucson. The conference focused on issues facing Jewish day schools. Feuer-berg was elect-ed treasurer of the national network's executive committee.

Rabbi Martin Sandor Scharf, chaplain of Kivel Campus of Care in Phoenix, will receive an honorary doctor of divinity degree from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion during the annual Founders' Day ceremony in Cincinnati on March 9.

Alvin Reisbaum has been named chairman of the board of the American Friends of Assaf Medical Center in Israel. Reisbaum previously served as campaign chairman and president of the Jewish Federation of North Jersey.

Television stations KTVK and KASW have earned the Crystal Award from the Partnership for a Drug Free America in recognition of the stations' leadership in delivering anti-drug messages to the Phoenix television market.
