Obituaries

Barbara Rose

Barbara Rose of Mahtomedi, Minn., died Feb. 11, 2003. She was 87. She was born in Duluth, Minn., and moved to Mahtomedi in 1936. She was a winter visitor to Arizona.

Survivors include her sister, Jane Halperin of Los Angeles; daughter, Marcy Armstrong-Dorau of Star Prairie, Wis; son, Jonathan Rose of Tempe; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Mount Zion Temple. Arrangements were made by Cullen-Crea-Hagstrom Funeral Home in New Richmond, Wis. Contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, Sixth Floor, New York, N.Y. 10006.



Inez G. Katelman

Inez G. Katelman of Scottsdale died Feb. 14, 2003. She was 93. She was born in St. Louis and moved to Arizona from Omaha, Neb., in 1980.

Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Wilcox of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Stephen and James Cohen, both of Scottsdale; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Messinger Mortuary. Arrangements were made by Messigner Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Scottsdale 85014.
