ObituariesJill Robin HamesJill Robin Hames of Mesa died Feb. 6, 2003. She was 41. She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and moved to Arizona from Texas in 1975.Survivors include her parents, Barbara Berghoff of Sun Lakes and Allan Feldman of Scottsdale; sister, Donna Fran Beletz; and brother, Mark David Feldman of Scottsdale. Bendheim, M.D.Otto L. Bendheim, M.D. was born on August 12, 1911 in Frankfurt, Germany and passed away February 6, 2003 in Scottsdale. He came to Phoenix in 1939 as Superintendent of the State Hospital, founded Camelback Hospital in 1954, served on the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners, was President of the Arizona Psychiatric Society and had a private psychiatric practice for over 50 years. In addition, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. from 1942-1946.Otto is survived by his loving wife Ronnie of 56 years; children Vicki (Don, deceased) Pipher of Washington, Paul of Israel, Margo (Paul) Gregory of Tucson, and Fred (Sarah) of New York; grand- children Jane, Nathan, Jessica, Daniel and Gemma; nephews Paul (Flo) Eckstein and John (Diane) Eckstein; and cousins Peter (Alice) Buseck and Laura Bendheim. Epcar, age 93, passed away February 6, 2003 in Phoenix. She was born in La Crosse, Wis. and moved to the Valley 33 years ago. She was a charter member of B'nai Abraham Congregation in Minneapolis, Minn.Survivors include her son Terry (Geri) Epcar, daughter Vicki (Victor) Linoff, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Solomon Epcar. Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, February 9, 2003 in Phoenix. He was a veteran of WWII serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps, a mason and member of Har Zion Congregation. In Passaic, he was the owner of Paul F. Glass Printing Company and member of Temple Emanuel.Survivors include his wife Selma, daughter Ruth (Peter) Pressman, sister Myra (Murray) Eber, and grandchildren Adam and David (Hannah) Pressman. Gay Conrad KruglickGay Conrad Kruglick, age 67, passed away February 6, 2003 in Phoenix. She was born in Mesa and has been a lifelong resident of Arizona.Gay was the former owner of Earl's Academy of Beauty in Mesa for 33 years. She served on the Arizona State Industrial Commission for 14 years and was a past Chairperson. She was the first woman to serve as President of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Temple Beth Israel. Survivors include her husband Burton S.; sons Craig Harmon, Nosh and Arthur Kruglick; daughters Shelly Ray and Janice and Jacqueline Kruglick; sisters Betty Beaty and Nancy Kerbs; brothers Dean Cooley, Stephen Cooley and Ross Cooley; mother Ellen Cooley; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Gay was preceded in death by her late son Marshal Dean Harmon. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 9, 2003 in Temple Beth Israel.
