Jessica Barber has been promoted to the full-time position of staff writer at the Jewish News. Barber graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University on Dec. 20.

Kettle Valley Fruit Snacks, winner of the American Taste Institute's Gold Medal Taste Award, is now kosher certified. The fruit snacks are available at grocery stores in sour apple, strawberry, wildberry, tropical fruit and raspberry.

Noah Kroloff has been appointed as advisor on economic development issues in the new economy area for Janet Napolitano's administration. He will also serve as a liaison to the business community. Kroloff has also served as an aide to New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and served on Napolitano's gubernatorial campaign.
