Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf now carries kosher products

Valley residents can now enjoy kosher cookies with their coffee.

Beginning earlier this month, all six Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations in the Valley now carry cookies from Cookies Amour, a kosher bakery in Phoenix.

According to Cookies Amour owner Lynne Wellish, the bakery will be providing double-size chocolate chunk, white chip pecan, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter white chip cookies.

The stores also carry non-kosher products from Chompie's.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was founded in 1963 in Los Angeles, where its stores are completely kosher - offering salads, sandwiches and baked goods produced in the company's own kosher bakery.

There are about 100 locations in California, Arizona and Nevada, and an additional 100 stores abroad - including Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei and Israel.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's Valley stores are located at 2560 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler; 20280 N. 59th Ave., Glendale; 709 W. Ray Road, Gilbert; 1959 S. Power Road, Mesa; 16211 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale; and 8877 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale. Visit www.coffeebean.com.
