ObituariesHarriet GoldhagenHarriet E. Goldhagen of San Diego died Dec. 5, 2002. She was 71. She was born in New York City and lived in Phoenix, where she was employed by the State of Arizona, for 36 years.Survivors include her sons, Stanton of San Diego and Craig of Eugene, Ore.; brothers, Martin Solomon of Phoenix, Alfred Solomon of Glendale and David Solomon of New York City; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, with Rabbi Peter S. Levi officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Temple Chai, 4645 E. Marilyn Road, Phoenix 85032. Anne PlotkinAnne Plotkin of Phoenix died Dec. 8, 2002. She was 86. She was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona in 1948. She was a homemaker, and a member of Beth El Congregation.Survivors include her husband, Alvin; son, Morton of Brentwood, Tenn.; sisters, Lottie Berman and Shirley Brohner, both of Mesa; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Saul DavisSaul Davis of Phoenix died Dec. 5, 2002. He was 87. He was born in Detroit and moved to Arizona in 1947. He was a retired taxi driver.Survivors include his daughters, Rene Stuckey of Phoenix and Ellen Roy of Indian Wells, Calif.; and son, Marvin of Mission, Texas. Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, with Rabbi Martin S. Scharf officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix 85014. Cary Jay ZuckerCary Jay Zucker, age 59, passed away at home in Phoenix December 9, 2002. He was born in Cleveland and moved to the Valley 18 years ago from California.He was the founder and president of Neutron Industries in Phoenix, a partner in State Chemical, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Temple Solel. Cary was an avid runner and completed many marathons, especially in New York; and was also a student of motivational books and speakers. Survivors include his wife Gail; daughters Kara Leta Zucker and Amanda Brooke Zucker; parents Malcolm and Helene Zucker; and sister Ronna (Harold) Uhurman. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 12th in Temple Solel. Contributions in his memory are requested to Temple Solel Educational Fund, 6805 E. McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.
