B'nai Mitzvah

Marissa Megan Hirsch, daughter of Ilona Hirsch of Phoenix and Tom Hirsch of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 7, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Marsden Rosen of Sun City; the late Marlene and Sid Rosen; and the late Magda and Max Hirsch.

Marissa attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include reading, music and sports.

For her mitzvah project, Marissa sang songs and played viola with a quartet at Kivel Geriatric Center.



Asher Zucker, son of Jo Whittle of Chandler and the late Jonathan Zucker, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 7, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Asher attends Aprende Middle School.

For his mitzvah project, Asher helped deliver meals to the needy with the Salvation Army in Mesa.



Lenette Jolene Herzog, daughter of Melissa and Richard Herzog of Cave Creek, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 7, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Lou Becker of Scottsdale; the late Florence Becker; and the late Elaine and Len Herzog.

Lenette attends Desert Arroyo Middle School. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, Web design and sports.

For her mitzvah project, Lenette organized a group of friends to create banners for Phoenix Children's Hospital.



Jonathan Daniel Rodenstein, son of Kathy Feld Rodenstein of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 7, 2002, at Beth El Congregation.

Grandparents are Gloria Feld of Phoenix; and the late Moe Feld.

Great-grandparents are the late Anna and Joe Feld; and the late Dorothy and Joe Roth.

Jonathan attends Madison Meadows Middle School. His hobbies include sports and spending time with friends.

For his mitzvah project, Jonathan donated some of his bar mitzvah money to Hospice of the Valley.
