Martin Latz & Linda Beier

Linda Jeanne Beier and Martin Edward Latz, both of Phoenix, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are June and Gary Beier of Lac du Flambeau, Wis.; and Carolyn and Robert Latz of Golden Valley, Minn.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in English literature from Northwestern University in Illinois and a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana. She is an assistant city attorney for the city of Phoenix.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his law degree from Harvard Law School. He is the founder of Latz Negotiation Institute, a national negotiation training and consulting company. He is also an adjunct professor of Law at Arizona State University.

A spring 2003 wedding is planned in Phoenix.
