Kimya Khales & Shawn Richter
Kimya Khales and Shawn Richter, both of Tempe, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Mina and Ali Khales of Montreal; and Belinda and David Richter of Scottsdale.
The bride-to-be earned a degree in nursing from John Abbot College. She is a registered nurse at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and political science from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a law degree. He plans to graduate in May 2003. A fall 2003 wedding is planned at the Windsor Ballroom in Montreal.
