Rick Rosenthal, vice chairman, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of KPMG LLP, was inducted into the Arizona State University College of Business Hall of Fame during the school's homecoming festivities Oct. 25-26. Rosenthal was chosen because of his years of dedication to accounting education and career achievements.

Marcia Reynolds, president of Covisioning, a leadership development firm in Phoenix, has been invited by the Center of Social Support in Moscow to deliver the first public seminar teaching business owners how to be emotionally intelligent.

Gallerie van Friend recently opened at 7012 E. Main St., Scottsdale. The gallery features works of Howard Behrens, Laurance Mauviel and more. Call 480-941-0600.

The CIERA/BLAINE Gallery of Fine Art recently opened at 7077 E. Main St., Suite 9, Scottsdale. The gallery is presently showing works by R.J. AnderSSon, a painter and sculptor from Minneapolis, and Olivia, a stained glass designer from Paris who now resides in Arizona. Call 480-233-8141.

Whole Foods Market, the world's largest natural and organic supermarket, will open its doors at 10810 N. Tatum Blvd., Paradise Valley, on Nov. 6. The progressive natural foods store features organic and natural foods and a selection of health and body care products. The store will also hold a "5 percent day" Wednesday, Nov. 13. Five percent of the day's sales will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Scottsdale.
