A boy, Aaron Michael, was born Aug. 19, 2002, to Lisa and David Pinkus of Scottsdale.

Grandparents are Bunny and Rob Polovin of Deerfield, Ill.; Carolyn Cesario of Phoenix; and Stan Pinkus of West Orange, N.J.

Great-grandparents are Fritzi Polovin of Skokie, Ill.; and Beulah and Bernie Wolfe of Chicago.

The Pinkuses are also the parents of Ilan Joseph, 17 months.
