Shelli Alyse Getz, daughter of Robin and Michael Getz of Mesa, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 26, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Evelyn Getz of Mesa; Bernard Diamond of Albuquerque, N.M.; the late Henrietta Diamond; and the late Phil Getz.

Shelli attends Shepherd Junior High School. Her hobbies include ice skating, playing the piano, collecting compact discs, sign language and spending time with family and friends.

For her mitzvah project, Shelli presented a neighborhood carnival and donated the proceeds to East Valley Child Crisis Center.



Elliot Andrew Finkel, son of Joni and Larry Finkel of Paradise Valley, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 26, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Ruth and Harold Finkel of Lancaster, Pa.; Evelyn Schwartzman of Scottsdale; and the late Joseph Schwartzman.

Elliot attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include drums, tennis, music and riding his bike.

For his mitzvah project, Elliot provided and served dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.



Jessica Hendricks, daughter of Betsy and Michael Hendricks of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 26, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Mary Hendricks of Fairview Heights, Ill.; Warren Silver of Scottsdale; the late Judy Silver; and the late James Hendricks.

Jessica attends Ingelside Middle School. Her hobbies include playing soccer and softball, talking on the phone, chatting online and spending time with friends.



Claudia Anne Kronenfeld, daughter of Sherry and Mark Kronenfeld of Chappaqua, N.Y., will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 26, 2002, at Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford, N.Y.

Grandparents are Jackie and Stan Silver of Sun City West; and Adele and Jerry Kronenfeld of Maspeth, N.Y.

Claudia attends Robert E. Bell Middle School. Her hobbies include art, basketball and soccer.

For her mitzvah project, Claudia worked at the Mount Kisco Day Care Center.
