Anya Michelle Bregman, daughter of Sandy and Mark Bregman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Elaine and Herbert Bregman of Virginia Beach, Va.; and Faye and Delmar Bucklew of Wooster, Ohio.

Anya attends Pardes Jewish Day School. Her hobbies include horseback riding, sports, music, chatting online, spending time with friends and collecting model horses.



Abby Nelson Klibanoff, daughter of Stacy and Alan Klibanoff of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Barbara and Raymond Daoust, and Karen Klibanoff, all of Scottsdale; and the late Abraham Klibanoff.

Great-grandparents are Joseph Daoust of Scotts-dale; and the late Nan Daoust.



Elizabeth Leigh Macdonough, daughter of Dana and Bruce Macdonough of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Vi and Stanley Ganeles of Dallas; Georgia Macdonough of Phoenix; and the late Edward Macdonough.

Elizabeth attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies are tennis, piano, cooking, computers and studying the French language.

For her mitzvah project, Elizabeth helped organize the Watkins Overflow Shelter's schedule for 2002-2003. She also helped organize supplies in a religious school office.



Sean Harrison Lieb, son of Mary Ann and Bobby Lieb of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Kol Ami.

Grandparents are Herb Lieb of Phoenix; Arlene Copley of Phoenix; Hermes Ortiz of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico; and the late Sharon Lieb.

Great-grandparents are the late Alice and Harrison Lieb; the late Miriam Jones; and the late Rose Nessel.



David Leitman, son of Teena and Daniel Leitman of Tempe, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Jacob and Esther Leitman of Forest Hills, N.Y.

David attends Aprende Middle School. His hobbies include reading, writing, bike riding and playing the trumpet.

For his mitzvah project, David donated money to a nature conservatory organization.



Cale Jared Ponzo, son of Sharon Roberts and Michael Ponzo, both of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 5, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Sonnie and Dan Roberts of Scottsdale.
