B'nai Mitzvah

Alex Feder, son of Lana Lewis of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Marcus Feder of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 28, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Jane Lowell Krauss and Michael Krauss of Fairbanks; Marcus Feder of Cleveland; Marjorie Martin of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; the late Robert Lewis; and the late Ingrid Feder.

Great-grandparents are the late Marcia Parsons; the late Marcus Feder; and the late Glenda Lewis.

Alex attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include science, soccer, skating, collecting baseball cards and games.

For his mitzvah project, Alex volunteered in a retirement home.



Drew Warren Rosenthal, son of Joyce and Jay Rosenthal of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 28, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Claudette and Daniel Kornfeld of Commack, N.Y.; and the late Deborah and Jerome Rosenthal.

Drew attends Mountainside Middle School. His hobbies include sports and music.

For his mitzvah project, Drew volunteered at a children's summer camp.
